We welcome back conductor Andrew Atkins for another programme of beautiful pieces. The first half of the concert is three short works by Kachaturian, Dvořák and Tchaikovsky. The second half is Elgar’s much loved Cello Concerto. We are delighted to be joined by soloist Caitlin Morris. Caitlin studied cello performance at Te Kōkī, New Zealand School of Music, under the tuition of Inbal Megiddo and Rolf Gjelsten. She graduated in 2016 and has since worked in performing, producing, composing, arranging, and teaching music.
