2015 Term 2 Concert

2.30pm, Sunday 28th June

St Andrew’s on The Terrace

Chris van der Zee conducts the orchestra, along with a true treasure of
Wellington, pianist Diedre Irons. The orchestra is led by Mariko
Hemmingsen, with a programme of:

  • Mozart, Overture to The Abduction from the Seraglio
  • Beethoven, Piano Concerto No. 3 in C minor (soloist: Diedre Irons)
  • Mozart, Symphony No. 38 “Prague”

Tickets are available before the concert from EventFinder for $18 (adult) and $14 (tertiary student/senior). Tickets at the door: Adults $20; Tertiary Students / Senior Citizens / Unwaged $15; School-aged or younger children free.

Rachel Hyde conducts the orchestra lead by Kathryn Maloney with a programme of:

  • Weber – Der Freishutz Overture 
  • Brahms – Double Concerto in A Minor with Helene Pohl (violin) and Rolf Gjelsten (cello) 
  • Brahms – Symphony No. 3 in F Major
